ANOTHER SEASON OVER
Well that's it! Another season done and dusted!
With a new President, VP and Secretary this season, along with a new Executive board member, it hasn't been the easiest of seasons. Our only constant was our treasurer, and BSA Life Member Dave Trotman who shared his knowledge and helped guide us through the season. It was a huge learning curve for us all but I am really happy to say that all reports are that we managed the year well, and we had some big wins. This new board worked tirelessly, purely for the love of the game. Thank you Tyson, Tanya, Brewster, Dave, Mick, Alana, Anne and Shane. We farewell Karen from our canteen - we'll miss you Karen - you and Pete did a great job for us and we wish you the best for the future (and hope to see you around some time at the ballpark).
Successful events held were:-
-
State Under 17 Championships
-
Gillies Shield Round 2
-
The Daniel Morcombe Day
-
Yellow Socks Softball Challenge
-
Deb McColm Shield
-
Grand Final day - including the naming ceremony where we honoured 2 of our legends, Audrey McLaughlin AM and Daphne Hass OAM
With Women's fixtures now complete, we move towards our Representative season. Best of luck to all involved - we know you will represent our association with pride. If you find yourself with some spare time, go along and cheer out teams onto victory.

Men's season starts in April - head out to Zillmere and support them - men's softball is a great game to watch and I am sure Rich, Men's chairman, would love your support.
Enjoy your off-season (for those of you having one). Your board will continue to work in the off season to ensure that next season everything that needs to be, is in place, to have the smoothest season yet!
See you around the ball park.
